How to size up your market before you launch
You do not need a research team. You need an afternoon and a notebook.
Find five alternatives Search the problem the way your customer would. Write down who shows up on the first page.
For each one, note - Who they seem to serve. - What they promise in the headline. - How they explain what happens next. - Where reviews say they fall short.
Look for the gap The gap is usually a group nobody speaks to directly, or a promise nobody makes clearly. That is where you start.
If you want it done for you and written up clearly: See the Competitor And Market Brief.
